Can I sell a barely used power wheelchair for cash?

My now deceased close relative had a Jazzy Z-chair retailing approximately $2000 new. It was used once and definitely shows no signs of age and wear. We have no use for the chair now and could really use the money. The problem is, I have no idea what to ask for for the chair. Don't most people receive to the chair at...."Little or no cost to them"? I'm not looking to sell it for $1800 or something like tht, but would it be a stretch to ask $1000?
